Painting, Sculpture, Installation and Landscape Interventions
TIMOTHY JOHN SANDERSON
Thoughts on what I'm about
I find myself a conduit through which spirit can express itself. This takes the form of a dance between the unlimited imagination: the realm of ideas, the breathing body, and the material world.

I am fascinated by colour and form, and the aesthetic sculptural effects of time and use, on materials, objects and life itself.

I am deeply moved by the beauty of the living landscape, the rolling seasons and the constant shifts of weather and light.

I love the visceral and sensual nature of paint and painting. And the choreography of making, crafting and sculpting.

I like to work in many ways, and see the entire universe, with all its dimensions and levels, as a medium for artistic expression; in reverence to the sacred nature of everything.
